Vista Terrace
PROJECT DETAILS
A four-bedroom summer residence, reimagined as a fully realized home for year-round living, tailored to a modern family of three.
The brief extended beyond aesthetic enhancement, calling for a thoughtful transformation that would support contemporary living, integrate two dedicated work environments, and elevate the home’s overall performance, comfort, and architectural integrity.

THE GROUNDWORK
WHERE WE STARTED
A whole-home transformation shaped around light, function, and year-round living
The project began with a comprehensive reworking of the home’s core living spaces, opening the kitchen, dining, and living areas into a more cohesive and light-filled plan. A secondary living room was taken back to the studs and rebuilt with a more refined architectural language, while one of the four bedrooms was transformed into a fully paneled office with bespoke integrated cabinetry. Elsewhere, an additional living area was redesigned as a flexible office and lounge with new sliding doors, and every bathroom was reimagined, including the addition of a custom bath with tailored oak joinery. New windows, doors, and mechanical upgrades improved comfort and performance throughout, while the exterior hardscape and pool surround were carefully modernized in keeping with the landscape.

THE BLUEPRINT
WHERE WE HEADED

Unlocking the home’s inherent potential
Our approach centered on unlocking the inherent potential of the home by simplifying its internal layout and strengthening the relationship between spaces. We prioritized natural light, visual continuity, and a seamless connection to the surrounding gardens and pool. Through disciplined architectural detailing and the introduction of bespoke joinery, we established a calm, cohesive aesthetic that feels both contemporary and enduring. Every design decision was guided by how the family lives and works, ensuring the home functions as beautifully as it feels.
